Overview
The Cisco Nexus X9716D-GX is a Cloud Scale line card for the modular Nexus 9500 chassis, providing 16 ports of 400G QSFP-DD and up to 12.8 Tbps of throughput per slot. It lets organizations scale a single Nexus 9500 chassis into a very high-density 400G spine or aggregation node. Each QSFP-DD port supports breakout to 100G, 50G, 40G, 25G, and 10G for flexible fabric design. The card integrates with NX-OS and ACI, inheriting MACsec, VXLAN EVPN, and telemetry from the platform, and requires Nexus 9500 FM-G fabric modules.
