The Cisco GLC-TE is a 1000BASE-T copper SFP (mini-GBIC) module with an RJ-45 interface that delivers Gigabit Ethernet over Category 5 and higher twisted-pair cabling up to 100m. It is the extended-temperature copper Gigabit SFP for slots across Cisco switches and routers, ideal where fiber is unnecessary for the link.
