Overview

The Catalyst 9606R is a 6-slot modular chassis for the Catalyst 9600 series, engineered for redundant campus-core and aggregation deployments. It provides slots for redundant supervisors and high-density line cards and is hardware-ready for up to 6.4 Tbps per slot and up to 25.6 Tbps of system capacity as next-generation supervisors are installed. The chassis supports redundant power and fan trays for non-stop operation. It scales from 10G to 400G as line cards are added.
