The C9600-SUP-1 is the supervisor engine for the modular Catalyst 9600 chassis, providing the control plane and centralized forwarding for campus-core deployments. It drives up to 9.6 Tbps of system capacity (2.4 Tbps per line-card slot) with redundant supervisor support for non-stop forwarding. The supervisor enables SD-Access, VXLAN BGP EVPN, and StackWise Virtual across line cards. It is the foundation for highly available, modular campus cores.
