Cisco N6K-C6004EF End of Life & End of Support
Cisco Nexus 6004 EF Switch
Past Last Date of Support (Apr 30, 2022)The Nexus 6004 EF was a 4 slot modular chassis built for high density 10/40G data center aggregation with FCoE support. Cisco's own bulletin lists the Nexus 5696Q as the replacement, but since that platform is itself now end of life, current deployments should move straight to the high density Nexus 9300 (N9K-C93360YC-FX2). Customers should budget for this two step migration path when planning refresh timing.
