The MG51 was Meraki's high-performance 5G cellular gateway for branch primary or backup WAN links, reaching end-of-sale November 28, 2025 with support through May 30, 2030. The MG52 is the direct successor, carrying forward 5G SA/NSA connectivity in the same rugged IP67 form factor. Buyers building out cellular WAN redundancy today should specify the MG52.
