The Cisco Meraki Z4 is a cloud-managed teleworker gateway that extends enterprise security and SD-WAN to home offices and remote workers. It features dual-band 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), five gigabit ethernet ports (1 WAN plus 4 LAN, one of which is a PoE+ port for a downstream phone, camera, or IoT device), and delivers up to 500 Mbps of stateful firewall throughput with 250 Mbps of VPN throughput. Recommended for up to 15 devices, it brings the same Auto VPN, next-gen firewall, and content filtering policy as larger MX appliances. The Z4 is provisioned with zero-touch deployment and managed entirely through the Meraki dashboard.
