Overview
The Catalyst CW9800M is Cisco's next-generation mid-to-large wireless LAN controller and the direct successor to the Catalyst 9800-40. In a single rack unit it supports 1,000 more access points than the prior generation while delivering up to 50 Gbps of throughput. Modular uplinks (4 x 1/10G plus 2 x 25G) let you match the controller to your data center or campus core fabric. It runs Cisco IOS XE with the full Catalyst 9800 high-availability and security feature set, including Encrypted Traffic Analytics.
